Discharge of Defense Counsel During Trial
Even though __________ was at first represented by a lawyer, [he] [she] has decided to continue this trial representing [himself] [herself] and not use the services of a lawyer. [He] [She] has a constitutional right to represent [himself] [herself]. [His] [Her] decision has no bearing on any matter at issue in this trial. You must not allow it to have any effect on your consideration of the case.
